The Guest House Crisis Stabilization Center is short-term, crisis residential program able to serve up to 10 individuals ages 18+ who are experiencing a mental health crisis but do not need the medical capabilities of an acute care hospital.
The program is conveniently located near PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center, University District, in Eugene. Guest are welcomed into a warm and welcoming, home-like environment. A caring and professional team of staff provide 24/7 supportive services, intended to keep the person safe, stabilize acute symptoms, and then help them connect and return to their familiar living situation and support systems as soon as possible. Treatment usually entails a combination of Milieu Therapy, Psychotropic Medications, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Assertive Case Management, and Motivational Interviewing. Typical length of stay are between 3-7 days.
The Guest House serves OHP Members per contract with Trillium and PacificSource CCOs, as well as those who are indigent (under and un-insured) per contract with Lane County. Referrals are accepted from identified community partner agencies, and admissions take place between 9am-6:30pm.
