Program Description: Rogue Ridge Apartments will be a beautiful, brand new, apartment complex located at 1651 Ashland Street Ashland, OR 97520 (just behind Rogue Credit Union).
Rogue Ridge will offer 28 total units, including 23 program-designated units offering affordable, Supportive Housing for local individuals who are low-income and without housing. ColumbiaCare is a non-profit, behavioral health organization who offers the combination of safe and stable affordable housing, along with services that help promote resident success, and will prioritize individuals who will benefit from this combination of housing and specialized support.
The complex will have a resident manager on-site, as well as support and services to promote resident success such as skills training, tenancy assistance, help with housing stabilization, and community navigation.
Rogue Ridge will be a true community resource, with referrals coming through the Jackson County Continuum of Care, Coordinated Entry System. This will ensure that local citizens in need, who meet criteria, and who are the best fit for Rogue Ridge will be selected. There are various access points (agencies) across the community.
Rogue Ridge will offer 23-studio, one 2-bedroom, and two 3-bedroom units for future residents. There will also be 2-units (one 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom) reserved for staff, including the Resident Manager. Additional staffing includes a Supportive Housing Associate and Certified Recovery Mentor who will be available 7 days a week and provide support and services such as skills training, tenancy assistance, housing stabilization, and community navigation. The program is supervised by a full-time Supportive Housing Supervisor
ColumbiaCare's Property Management team will help serve our clients with support moving in or out of their apartment, rent collection, maintenance and repairs, plus any general concern’s tenants may have regarding their tenancy or unit.
Rogue Ridge is a beautiful, three-story complex complete with elevator and ADA-accessible units. There is a community/activity room for residents to participate in supportive services, community and skills-building activities, engage in structured learning, and find social connection.
There are multiple community spaces for residents to enjoy, including a sky bridge which connects the buildings and offers beautiful views of the mountains. The grounds include outdoor seating areas and a bike room for storing personal transportation. The building was designed to ensure congruity with the surrounding buildings in the area and fits beautifully into the community. We are proud to share that the project was developed according to Earth Advantage Certification to ensure eco-friendly "green" standards.
ColumbiaCare takes pride in being a good neighbor, that is why we have established our Community Cares webpage (www.communitycares.info) so the public can receive the most up to date project progress information. In addition to regular updates as the project unfolds, we will also hold an Open House once construction is completed, but prior to tenants moving in, for those interested in touring the program, meeting staff, and celebrating this wonderful new resource in Jackson County.
