Anticipated Completion Date: May 2023
Program Description: Twin Pines is a 16-bed residential treatment program located in Central Point, Oregon. Twin Pines will serve adults with a disability (living with a mental illness).
Twin Pines will be operating from a beautifully renovated and repurposed ColumbiaCare building out of which we previously operated a mental health outpatient clinic. We have since moved what was called the Central Clinic, and are now using this location to serve needs of individuals in a more long-term, community treatment setting.
The program will be supported and staffed by 24/7 awake team of professionals including a full-time Administrator, 2 full-time Assistant Administrators, a Qualified Mental Health Professional (Therapist), a Peer, Qualified Mental Health Associates (Residential Associates), as well as Licensed Medical Professional (LMP) and Nursing staff time.
The first group of residents moving into Twin Pines are existing clients we currently serve, who will be relocated and welcomed to Twin Pines on May 1st. We are also thrilled to be using an experienced, existing team of ColumbiaCare staff to open and operate the program, with more joining the team in the near future and as we accept additional residents.
All residents will receive residential services and mental health treatment, including skills training, medication management and administration, individual and group treatment services, case management, support around community activities, Peer-delivered services, and personal care support. Additional supports and services will be tailored to meet the individuals needs of a portion of residents who will benefit from a combination of education and skills training and restorative services necessary to facilitate their return to capacity.
ColumbiaCare has been working closely with a host of community partners to set up effective systems and processes, as well as ongoing coordination and collaboration to promote resident success.
Location + Physical Building: Twin Pines is conveniently located near public transportation, community services, shopping, and recreation.
The Twin Pines building renovation has been an incredible transformation, allowing us to offer a beautiful, therapeutic setting for our residents and staff to enjoy.
